Az LG bejelentette első Android operációs rendszerű okostelefonját, a közösségi hálózati szolgáltatásokra optimalizált LG GW620-at.

Az LG GW620 közösségi oldalakat kezelő alkalmazásával a felhasználók egyszerűen követhetik, hogy mi történik a barátaikkal, megjegyzéseket írhatnak, illetve frissíthetik saját közösségi profiljukat. A program egyetlen platformon kezeli a felhasználó összes közösségi jelenlétét, így egyszerre több fiók felügyelete is lehetséges, miközben valós időben frissülnek a beérkező adatok.

Az automatikus arcazonosításnak (arcot műveletekhez rendelő funkció) köszönhetően a barátok és családtagok mindig csupán egy érintésnyire vannak. Elég megjelölni egy barát arcát egy fényképen, majd megérinteni, és máris könnyedén végrehajtható egy sor művelet, mint fényképfeltöltés egy kedvelt webhelyre, SMS vagy MMS küldés, illetve telefonálás.
