A fejlesztők számára decembertől elérhető rendszerrel a cég reményei szerint a fejlesztők alkalmazások ezreit hozzák majd létre Samsung mobiltelefonokra. A “bada” név koreaiul óceánt jelent, és a kiadott közlemény alapján azt hivatott kifejezni, hogy az új platform használatával szinte végtelen a fejleszthető alkalmazások száma. A cég kiemeli a stabil fejlesztési környezetet és az egyszerű használatot, főként a webes szolgáltatások területén.
A Samsung bada a szolgáltatók számára is lehetővé teszi, hogy egyéni szolgáltató platformot alkossanak, és előfizetőiknek alkalmazásokat, és webes tartalmakat kínáljanak. “A Samsung mobil platformjainak megnyitásával lehetőségünk lesz gazdagítani az okostelefonokra elérhető alkalmazások sorát. A bada a Samsung életében meghatározó platform lesz, úgy a szolgáltatók-, ahogyan a fejlesztők és a felhasználók számára is.” – mondta Dr Hosoo Lee, A Samsung Electronics Media Solution Center vezetője.
