700 millióba került a leállás, de a T-Mobile cool
Számokról, tervekről, és a leállásról egyaránt szó esett a T-Mobile évzáró sajtórendezvényén. Ezekből szemezgetünk.
Szerda reggel tartotta Winkler János, a Magyar Telekom vezérigazgató-helyettese a cég évzáró sajtótájékoztatóját, ahol elsőként természetesen a két héttel ezelőtti T-Mobile leállásról esett szó. A cég nevében köszönetet mondott a türelmes ügyfeleknek, hozzátévé, hogy néhány ügyfél azért másként állt ehhez a „kínos” történethez.
A hiba okáról nem tudtunk meg sok újat, azt viszont igen, hogy a szoftverfrissítés okozta malőr folytán egyetlen piros lámpa sem gyulladt fel sehol, ezért a szolgáltatás kimaradozása először csak a forgalmi adatokból volt látható. A leállás állítólag 28-30 százalékos visszaesést okozott az előző péntekhez képest, ezzel mintegy 160 milliós kiesést generált a vállalatnak. Az ajándék 10 perccel és a karbantartással összesen ez mintegy 700 milliójába fáj a T-Mobile-nak. (Így talán az is érthetőbb, hogy miért is nem túl kedves ezen viccelődni.)
A T-Mobile a legcoolabb vállalat, legalábbis a mobilszolgáltatók között – derült ki egy 18-25 évesek közötti felmérésből. Ezt különösen nagy elismerésnek érzi a cég, miután elődje, a Westel kifejezetten az üzleti megközelítést alkalmazott.
Csökkenés és növekedés
Idén a T-Mobile a többi szolgáltatóval együtt kivonta az inaktív SIM kártyákat, így jelentősen csökkent az előfizetők abszolút száma. Viszonyszámok terén ellenben jól állnak: T-Mobile 44,64 %-os aránya a hazai előfizetők táborából még mindig magasan piacvezető, a cég idén 0,43 százalékkal növelte a részesedését az aktív, forgalmazásban részt vevő SIM-ek számát tekintve.
A mobillal ellentétben a tévészolgáltatásban erős növekedés volt a vállalatnál, több mint 500 ezer előfizetővel a UPC után a második legnagyobb a T-Home, de a legismertebb triple play (telefon, internet, TV) szolgáltatás is az ő nevükhöz fűződik. Az IPTV is felfutóban van, 10 ezerről 60 ezer előfizetőre dagadt a tábor, de a jövőben is dinamikus növekedés várható a piacon.
2010-ben inkább a meglévő szolgáltatásokat szeretné magasabb szintre emelni majd a Magyar Telekom, így nem várható újabb jelentős optikai hálózat építése. Új szolgáltatások azért lesznek, ilyen lesz például az a lakásriasztó is, amely nem igényel majd kábelezést, viszont akár mobillal is bepillanthatunk majd távolról a saját lakásunkba.
Az iPhone megy meg a mobilparkolás
Ugyan a smartphone-ok aránya még csak 10 százalék körül mozog Európában, az iPhone 3GS-t nagyon szeretik itthon, mert ebből vagy másfélszer annyi elment, mint a korábbi iPhone-ból. Winkler szerint a következő 3-4 évben az okostelefonok aránya 40 százalék fölé is emelkedhet, amely az iPhone mellett többi piaci szereplővel is jót tehet.
Szintén jelentős sikerként könyvelték el idén a mára 24 városban elérhető mobilparkolás szolgáltatást, amelyet már több mint egymillió autós (összesen 10 milliónál is többször) vett igénybe.
