HTC: mobiltörténelmet írtunk!
A HTC újabb, immár részletesebb választ adott az Apple vádjaira. Bátran állnak a bíróság elé, álláspontjuk szerint teljesek biztosak benne, hogy az összes vádpontban meg tudják védeni magukat.
Peter Chou, a tajvani gyártó vezetője elmondta, hogy tiszteletben tartják az iparág újítóit, valamint azok technológiáját. A hivatalos tajvani reakció szerint a HTC mindig partnerség-szemléletű, együttműködő jelleggel állt az üzlethez, ezt bizonyítja az iparághoz kapcsolódó vezető cégekkel való jó kapcsolata is.
Közleményében a HTC az iparág több olyan történelmi pontját is kiemeli, melyben ő maga tett meg elsőként komoly lépéseket.

- az első Windows telefon (2002)
- az első 3G/CDMA/EVDO okostelefon (2005 október)
- az első érintésvezérlős okostelefon (2007 június)
- az első androidos okostelefon (2008 október)
- az első 4G/WIMAX okostelefon (2008 november)
Az Apple még március elején állt elő azzal, hogy a legtöbb Androidot gyártó HTC nem kevesebb, mint 20 szabadalmát sértette meg. Az Apple a következő modellek USA-béli betiltását szeretné elérni: Google Nexus One, HTC Droid Eris, Touch Pro, Touch Diamond, Touch Pro2, Tilt II, Pure, Imagio, Dream/T-Mobile G1, myTouch 3G, Hero és a HD2.
A HTC korábban egyszer már reagált az Apple vádjaira, az akkori közlésük mondanivalója is hasonló volt.
