39 milliárdjába kerül az Apple-nek az antennás hiba
Az Antennagate-ként elhíresült ügyre adott Apple-válasz, az ingyen tokok biztosítása 175 millió dollárjába, azaz 39 milliárd forintjába kerül majd a cégnek. Közben a többi gyártó tiltakozik az Apple antennás vádjai ellen.
Tokkal a tuti – erre jutott maga az Apple, így a készülék kézbe vételekor eltűnő térerő hibáját az iPhone 4 tulajdonosai számára biztosított ingyen tokokkal tüntetik el. A 175 millió dolláros költség bár óriásinak tűnik, az elmúlt 3 hónapra számolt 3.25 milliárd dolláros haszon fényében meg sem fog kottyanni a cégnek.
A többi gyártónak viszont megkottyant, hogy az Apple sajtótájékoztatóján Steve Jobs azt állította, hogy az iparágban gyakorlatilag mindenkit érint az antennás probléma. A Nokia rögtön kifejtette, hogy nekik a térerő fontosabb, mint a dizájn.
Ezután csatlakozott a RIM: “Az iparág egyik vezetőjeként mindig is kerültük az iPhone 4-hez hasonló hibás tervezés. BlackBerryvel biztosan nem kell tok a telefonáláshoz. A Motorola szerint pedig az emberek egyszerűen nem szeretik, ha egy különutas gyártó meg szeretné mondani, hogy milyen kitekerten kell ahhoz tartani a készüléket, hogy használni lehessen. Ezzel kapcsolatban meg is jelentettek egy reklámot, ami már a címében kifejezi véleményüket arról, hogy milyen is egy jó mobil.
