A Nokia által kiadott közlemény szerint a felhasználók a fizetős alkalmazásokra kattintva még a letöltés előtt eldönthetik, hogyan kívánják kiegyenlíteni a számlát, a programok letöltése ezután kezdődhet meg. A szolgáltató a banki jóváhagyási folyamathoz hasonlóan SMS-fizetés esetén visszajelzést küld az Ovi Áruházat üzemeltető rendszernek a tranzakció sikerességéről, ezután kezdődhet meg a tartalom letöltése. A letöltéssel keletkező adatforgalmi díjat továbbra is külön felszámítja a mobilszolgáltató.
